I will say this though:īatman: The Brave and the Bold is MY DC, and it's a DC I wish I could experience more. Honestly, I could go at length why I love Brave and the Bold, but sadly, it's pretty late as I type this, so maybe that'll be something for another day. It also has my absolute favorite interpretation of Aquaman, across all media. It's also thanks to Brave and the Bold that I was introduced to Black Orchid who is now my favorite all-time superhero. It's fun, it's action-packed, doesn't at all shy away from some of the silly stuff that's inherent in the superhero genre, and it also has that feeling of adventure that I feel is missing in a lot of superhero comics today (er, at least DC-side anyway. Hell, about cape comics as a whole, actually. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is everything I love about the DCU. Screwed by the Network: If giving the final season only 13 episodes when the first two had 26 wasnt enough, Cartoon Network also managed to anger the fans more by airing the seasons episodes with weeks, sometimes a month, between new episodes and without much promotion. Batman: The Brave and the Bold comes closest to my personal vision and interpretation of the DCU. From the Duck Dodgers episode 'The Green Loontern': Michel Vigné as Kilowog. Hell, you know what? I'm going to go there. I will never not love Brave and the Bold. Batman: The Brave and the Bold, I think, is the BEST animated show DC has put out.
